Ms. Tinoco has joined Hudson Martin in 2024 as a Law Clerk in our litigation department. While Ms. Tinoco was born in Mexico, she’s been for the most part a Monterey County local since 1997. Ms. Tinoco comes from a family of farm workers and is a huge advocate for the Latino community. Although her career started at the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s office as a Paralegal intern, Ms. Tinoco later transferred to private practice for 8 years, where Ms. Tinoco worked as a Senior Paralegal in handling Personal Injury and Workers Compensation cases. In 2016, Ms. Tinoco earned her ABA-Certified Paralegal certification from West Valley College. In 2023, Ms. Tinoco graduated Monterey College of Law with a Master’s in Legal Studies and a Juris Doctorate. While at Monterey College of Law, she held office as the Student Bar Association’s President in 2022-2023, the Student Bar Association’s Secretary in 2021-2022, as well as the MCL Student Representative at the Monterey County Bar Association in 2021-2022.
While in office as the MCL Student Representative at the Monterey County Bar Association, Ms. Tinoco sat as a Board Director, Events Committee member, and became Chair of the Membership Committee as a law student! Ms. Tinoco is also a licensed California Notary Public and owner of Tinoco Notary Services. Ms. Tinoco is fluent in English and Spanish, as well as elementary in modern standard Arabic which she is currently working on improving.
During her free time, Ms. Tinoco enjoys spending time at the beach or going for nature walks/hikes, traveling, road trips, but first and foremost, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, their cat Estrella, and their two dogs Yoshi and Spike.
