Theresa C. Kelly

Theresa C. Kelly is an Associate Attorney who brings a litigation-informed perspective to her transactional work. With a strong intellectual curiosity and attention to detail, she thrives on collaborating with colleagues and clients to develop practical, effective solutions. Theresa is dedicated to growing her practice in support of Hudson Martin’s commitment to exceptional service.

Theresa is licensed to practice law in California and Iowa. Prior to joining Hudson Martin, she began her legal career a judicial law clerk to Judge Julie Schumacher at the Iowa Court of Appeals. Theresa earned her law degree from Creighton University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and served as a member of the Creighton Law Review.

Before attending law school, Theresa worked in horticulture as a grower in commercial greenhouse crop production and as a small business owner. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the challenges businesses of all sizes face. Today, she draws on that perspective to anticipate client needs and fuel her professional growth.

In her free time, Theresa enjoys building relationships, serving the community, creating and appreciating art, hiking, and finding quiet clarity in nature. Now based on the Central Coast, she’s enjoying developing community and exploring the region’s natural beauty.
