Christina Goebelsmann is an experienced attorney with a background in litigation, secured transactions, and creditors’ rights. She has been licensed in California since 2010.
Christina previously held positions in the federal government where she represented agencies in civil litigation and bankruptcy cases. She also directed civil investigations into alleged fraud and abuse; provided legal advice regarding federally-guaranteed loan programs, government contracting, and employee standards of conduct; and handled administrative appeals.
Additionally, in prior private practice, Christina prosecuted and defended civil litigation and bankruptcy matters on behalf of financial institutions and lenders. Her representation included actions involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, misappropriation of trade secrets, fraud, and unfair competition.
Christina began her legal career as a judicial law clerk in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. She attended law school after working as an anti-money laundering consultant for several banks in New York City.
Christina holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. While there, she was a production editor for the Loyola Law Review, a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society, and a recipient of the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence. She graduated cum laude from the New York University, Stern School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science, in Economic Policy, International Business, and Political Science.
In her free time, Christina enjoys hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
